A Weekend in Paris

Soooo we just had a GROWN UP weekend in Paris over the weekend. That’s right, no kids came along!! It was just marvellous and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute so I wanted to share some links to where we stayed and ate and what we got up to – incase you fancy a cheeky getaway with the girls or the hub.

Where we stayed –

Grand Pigalle

We chose to stay here because it looked really cute with lovely balconies (not many have them) it was mid price range and it was in a really Parisian area with the gorgeous streets of Montmarte round the corner. The rooms weren’t huge (but supposedly not many in Paris are) – it was really fresh and amazingly styled! I loved the wallpaper and the bathroom was just gorgeous. The view from our balcony was amazing and it was such a treat to sit out with breakfast and coffee in the mornings!

Where we ate:

I feel like we ate A LOT when we were there… but without children it’s just so so nice to get to sit and enjoy a meal together, plus the choices in Paris are insane!!

Pink Mamma

Now this place is just amazing, the interiors are so gorgeous and it feels really “normal” but the quality of the food and service was just amazing!! You HAVE to go here if you visit Paris!

Now if you love a juice or a smoothie like me then this is a must, I absolutely loved this place and they had so much choice of cold pressed juices, smoothies, salads, raw treats and smoothie bowls!

This place is a treat – it’s situated in the grounds of the Louvre and the food was amazing! It wasn’t cheap and you need to book to get in, but it’s worth it!

We went here for late lunch on our last day and the sun was beaming so the terrace was packed – literally packed! If you want to hang with the insta crew then this is your place… the food was really really good, but I enjoyed the people watching more than anything!!

We came to The Hoxton for brunch and we definitely weren’t disappointed! I had avocado on toast with a side of bacon, a green cold pressed juice and a flat white and it was all so so good! They also have a conservatory area that is super IG friendly so be sure to get you’re pics when you are there!

For a drink

This is deffo to place to come for a drink – a terrace to die for with views of the Eiffel Tower, amazing cocktails and fantastic service with beautiful interiors. We had a lot of fun here!

I totally recommend hiring scooters if you go to Paris, you literally just download an app (we used Bird App) and they were great. You just put in your payment details then you unlock the scooter with your phone, it’s so easy! Then you can just pop wherever you want on them! I found Paris pretty sprawled out and didn’t fancy getting the Metro all the time as we wanted to see the streets but also save our legs so this was the perfect way to nip around! There are also bikes you can hire if you would prefer, but we found the scooters so fun!
